    Qualifications, Education, and Required Skills: 

    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience running tractor and trailer

  • We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Human Resource Manager & Safety Officer to support our team and help maintain a safe, productive, and compliant workplace. 

    Job Description: 

    Under the supervision of the Office Manager and in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations and Operations Manager, this position is responsible for performing the following duties, including but not limited to: 

    Human Resources: 

    • Monitor employee attendance, including absences, tardiness, and related attendance matters 

    • Maintain attendance records in accordance with the NPCC employee manual and prepare disciplinary documentation as needed 

    • Conduct interviews and assist with candidate evaluation for prospective new hires 

    • Coordinate and complete onboarding processes for newly hired employees 

    • Manage termination processing for terminated employees 

    • Document workplace injuries and complete required workers’ compensation documentation accurately and promptly 

    • Document employee performance concerns and prepare corrective action records when required 

    • Partner with management and production leadership to conduct meetings related to employee performance and workplace incidents. 

    Safety Officer: 

    • Maintain a strong working knowledge of applicable safety regulations and ensure consistent enforcement throughout the workplace 

    • Conduct new hire safety orientations and support ongoing employee safety training initiatives 

    • Audit safety training records, inspections, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance 

    • Prepare and distribute safety meeting materials to the Safety Manager to conduct safety meetings 

    • Participate in weekly safety inspections in collaboration with the Vice President of Operations 

    • Ensure that pre-operational and monthly inspections are completed accurately and on schedule 

    • Update the Safety Manual and related safety documentation as needed to maintain compliance and operational readiness 

    • Maintain accurate records of safety, departmental, and task-specific training 

    Qualifications, Education & Required Skills: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field 

    • High level of accountability and professionalism 

    • Integrity and sound judgment 

    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • OSHA 30 certification (Can be obtained through employment)

    Work under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager or Operations Manager to safely and efficiently carry out the following tasks, including but not limited to:

    • Train or oversee the training of laborers

    • Be proficient in the operation of your production department

    • Fill in for or assist other departments, if needed

    • Ensure your department meets projected completion times

    • Ensure all products produced meet top quality standards

    • Ensure daily schedules are set the day before, and that your team is aware of the schedule and expectations for the next day

    • Collaborate with all management and your team to uphold safety, quality, efficiency, and cleanliness standards

    • Maintain a clean work area

    Work under the direct supervision of the Department Foreman to safely and efficiently carry out the following tasks, including but not limited to:

    • Wear all required PPE

    • Clean concrete forms and tools

    • Apply form oil to forms

    • Cut, tie, and set steel cages

    • Set hole formers and necessary cast-in items for production

    • Set forms, pour concrete, and strip forms

    • Maintain a clean work area

    • Wear all required PPE

    • Operate Front End Loader 

    • Operate Forklift

    • Pre-trip inspections for Front End Loader & Forklift

    • Facilitate shipping department in grouting, painting, stenciling, strapping loads etc.

    • Lead Department on all daily tasks

    • Load all trailers both incoming and outgoing
